Challenge: Vancouver Community College was looking for a campaign to raise enrolment for the fall. One of the challenges identified was its location. Most colleges are located in the suburbs and therefore, cater to a more suburban mindset.
Solution: Use the location as an opportunity to differentiate itself as the standalone, urban college specializing in training for urban professionals learning in an rban environment. Highlight courses in a uniquely urban matter that have a proud, bold VCC look. Create an icon that clearly positions itself as the geographic and emotional centre of VCC.
What I did: Designed and produced: Campaign logo, transit ads, backlit sky train station ads, large sky train murals, banners for the campus, large scale outdoor banner for the building and design and layout for comps including SWAG and their annual report.
All the photography was shot by me. The images are from the VCC surrounding area. The images celebrate urban learning.
CHALLENGE: The Centre for Optimal Living required a rebrand. The identity would feel more congruent with the messaging and feel that the centre offers.
RESULTS: Through strategy and understanding of this new healing model an inclusive, connected, and balance of modern and organic logo is created. The brand is celebrated in vibrancy and rooted in orange throughout the collateral.
WHAT I DID: Strategy, logo creation, tagline creation, design of collateral, design of website, art direction of photoshoot, outdoor vinyl graphics for windows. The doctor is also an author. I created a book cover separate to the centre’s look and feel, but congruent to the doctor’s sensibility and the book’s content.
Challenge: An environmental consulting company required a fresh new look. They have a parent company Triton and also an aboriginal division Khtada that they would like streamlined and updated with a fresh new look.
The Solution: Create a logo that reflects their main business, water. Create continuity through their collateral, brochures and trade shows. Keep Khtada on the same line of design, but with an aboriginal feel.
What I did: Logo; design and print production of: all stationery, double gate-fold brochure, Triton brochure, Khtada brochure, 5 vertical single trade show banners, 3 large trade show banners, event invitation web version and print, vehicle graphics, newsletter template, case studies templates, biography templates, sales inserts.
Challenge: Park Shore BMW was looking for an identity unique to BMW Canada's corporate advertising.
Solution: Create a personality that references the North Shore environment, the type of personal professional service they deliver and their history.
The ads ranged from sales promotions to 30th anniversary ads to brand ads. I also created unique collateral such as their billfold slip.
What I did: Client contact, creative direction, design and production, ad trafficking for newsprint and magazines, and design and production of TSAs.
CHALLENGE: Skills Canada BC was looking for an original design that they could use on the front cover of their annual show guide. They wanted a similar look and feel to carry forward through subsequent pieces.
RESULT: I created and original design and illustration that utilized their brand colours and highlighted their offerings.

CHALLENGE: Create a new look and feel that reflects the innovative and personable feel of the insurance company.
RESULT: A website design that is intuitive, interactive and user friendly. A corporate video that highlights the company’s key strengths. Ads and collateral that modern and arresting reflect the brand’s sensibility.

Challenge: BC Dairy Foundation required a logo for their Better Together campaign that illustrates how families who cook together and eat together are happier. They also required a handbook to showcase the morphological research that was conducted by Concerto Marketing.
Solution: logo that captures both the joy of cooking and eating together. The logo was validated through one hundred street interviews and chosen for it's emotional impact. The handbook furthers the theme and highlights images of single moms, single dads, multi-race families, nucleus families and grandparents all enjoying the cooking process.
What I did: Logo, design and production of handbook.
Tested in 100 street interviews and selected as their logo.
Challenge: A new identity for Bellrock Partners. They are a business-consulting firm that went through a full rebrand including the company’s name. They were looking for an identity to echo this change.
Solution: A logo with a solid font and an icon that indicates positive change and results. It's similar in colour and shape to a lighthouse's guiding light and also represents climbing a mountain or a bar graph on an accelerated path. The collateral, newsletter templates and Facebook page extend the look.
What I did: Logo, all stationery, newspaper template, Facebook look and feel.
Challenge: A complete rebrand with a fresh new look that reflects their progressive line of business. They are an IT company that works remotely.
The Solution: Contemporary colour palette and font. The icon suggests that they are connected to you even if they’re physically not. Create a straightforward sales package that explains their services. They were also a repeat client and came to us to launch a brand awareness campaign.
What I did: Logo, all stationery and print production, sales package design, tradeshow banner, web banners, trade show sales take away, microsite landing page design.
CHALLENGE: Chiropractic group required a brand strategy and an identity to match their philosophy. They also required a new company as their existing wasn’t aligned with their values. They were launching a business to empower others in the community to elevate their health and wellbeing.
SOLUTION: Create a look and feel that exemplifies their heartfelt philanthropic mission while retaining a credible 21st century feel.
WHAT I DID: Brand strategy and company naming, logo, website design, business cards, design and layout of e-book, creative direction for photo-shoot in Mexico, T-shirt design and production.
Challenge: FirstWest Credit Union wanted a unique RSP campaign to reflect a fresh new internal vision. They also wanted a tagline to echo the roll out.
Solution: Create a wordmark with a type treatment that reflects this new vision: Keeping It Simple. In terms of the RSP campaign the look is unconventional and the message straightforward. The proverbial banking wall is removed between the institution and consumer. The images embrace the notion of the people's bank that can be found right in your own backyard.
What I did: Wordmark for new campaign, art direction on traveling photo-shoot, design and layout of pamphlets and collateral, all print production for newsprint, collateral and large scale banners.

Challenge: Female entrepreneurs Kate Muker and Lara Kozan created a course to support an online community for women to have more flow and grace in both their personal and professional lifeThey required an identity and online presence.
Solution: Start with a brand strategy. Create a logo that reflects this circle of powerful brilliant women. Then create a web banner to promote their program “Soul Strategy”. It appears on their personal sites and its own website.
